Basic information

About RebelsFunding

Core information about the RebelsFunding business model, simulated accounts, eligibility and the difference between Evaluation and RCF cooperation.
For exact program parameters, always use the current Program Rules together with the Terms & Conditions.

What is RebelsFunding?

RebelsFunding is a prop trading education and evaluation service operated by RIFM, s.r.o. It provides structured simulated Evaluation programs for beginner and experienced traders who want to demonstrate trading ability, consistency and risk management on the RF-Trader platform.
After successful completion of an Evaluation, a trader may become eligible for a separate assessment and possible RCF cooperation. Successful Evaluation does not create an automatic right to an RCF Account, a payout or acceptance into cooperation.
Evaluation and RCF Accounts are fully simulated accounts using real market quotations. RebelsFunding is not a broker and program purchases are not deposits.

Is RebelsFunding a legitimate company?

RebelsFunding services are operated by RIFM, s.r.o., a Slovak company with its registered office at Landererova 8, Bratislava - Staré Mesto 811 09, Slovak Republic, Company ID 48 116 700.
The service model, simulated account conditions, Program Rules, payment terms and RCF approval process are described on the website and in the applicable contractual documents. This company information does not mean that RebelsFunding is a broker, bank, deposit-taking institution or provider of investment services.

Is RebelsFunding a broker or liquidity provider?

No. RebelsFunding and RIFM, s.r.o. do not operate as a retail broker or liquidity provider for traders, do not accept trading deposits and do not execute customer investment orders on a live brokerage account.
RF-Trader uses real market quotations and technical services supplied through third-party infrastructure, while the Evaluation and RCF Accounts shown to traders remain fully simulated. Any proprietary trading activity performed by RIFM, FRCSM or an affiliated entity is independent, uses its own capital, is carried out on its own account and at its own risk.

Are RebelsFunding trading accounts real live accounts?

No. All Evaluation and RCF Accounts provided to traders are fully simulated accounts displaying real market quotations. The balances, trades, profit and loss shown on those accounts do not represent the trader trading deposited money or a live brokerage account.
Simulation has limitations. Execution, liquidity and results may differ from a live market environment, and there is no guarantee that a strategy or account will achieve a profit in simulated or live trading.
Important: A program purchase is a payment for the selected Evaluation service. It is not a trading deposit or an investment.

What is the difference between an Evaluation Account and an RCF Account?

Evaluation Account

A simulated account used to complete the selected paid program. It has program-specific Profit Targets, drawdown limits and a minimum number of real trades. Paid Evaluation trades must remain open for at least 30 seconds.

RCF Account

A fully simulated account available only after separate review, approval, compliance checks and an RCF Account Contract. It includes RCF-specific risk, news and minimum 60-second trade-duration rules and may generate an eligible RCF reward.
Completing an Evaluation makes the trader eligible for assessment. It does not guarantee that an RCF Account will be approved.

Who can become a RebelsFunding trader?

A person aged 18 or older may use the service when it is available in that person's jurisdiction and all account, payment, identity, KYC, AML, sanctions and security requirements are satisfied.
The trader must register and trade personally. Account sharing, trading for another person, allowing another person to trade the account and account-management services are prohibited.
Availability may change by country, payment method, sanctions status or compliance review. A successful Evaluation does not override these requirements.

How can I join RebelsFunding?

Choose an RF program, select the account size, complete the order and follow the access instructions sent to your registered email. Your accounts, progress, Achievements and available actions are shown in the Client Zone.
Before purchasing a paid program, you can register for the Free Trial and test RF-Trader without paying a program fee.

Why should I choose RebelsFunding?

RebelsFunding offers several program structures, from a gradual four-phase Evaluation to the Diamond progression model, so traders can choose conditions that fit their experience, pace and risk profile.
  • Paid Evaluation programs have no deadline for account activation or reaching the Profit Target.
  • Trading, account limits, progress and payout requests are managed through RF-Trader and the Client Zone.
  • Eligible RCF reward splits can reach up to 90%, depending on the selected program and progression conditions.
  • The trader does not deposit or trade personal trading capital on an Evaluation or RCF Account.
Keep the distinction clear: the program fee is still a real purchase cost and may not be refundable. The account itself remains simulated.
Programs and Evaluation

Programs, Targets and Evaluation

Answers about RF program structures, time limits, Free Trial, real trades, leverage, Diamond progression and account sizes.
The short answers below explain the most common questions. The complete and order-specific source remains the All Rules and Recommendations for RF Programs page.

Which RebelsFunding programs are available?

How long does each Evaluation phase last?

Paid Evaluation programs have no deadline for reaching the Profit Target. You may progress at a pace that suits your strategy, whether that takes a short period or several months.
The Free Trial is different: each of its two phases is available for 30 calendar days. Trading hours, market closures and technical availability still apply to every account.

Do I have to start trading immediately after buying a program?

No. Paid RF programs do not have a general deadline for activating the account or placing the first trade. You may start when you are ready.
You should still check the exact version of the Program Rules and Terms accepted with your order and protect your login details. Free Trial and Competition accounts follow their own time and event schedules.

What is the RebelsFunding Free Trial account?

The Free Trial is a free two-phase simulated account designed to test RF-Trader and the basic Profit Target and drawdown mechanics. It is not a paid Evaluation program and it is not an RCF Account.
  • Profit Target: 5% in Phase 1 and 5% in Phase 2.
  • Time limit: 30 calendar days for each phase.
  • Daily Drawdown: 5%.
  • Fixed Overall Drawdown: 10%.
  • No minimum number of real trades and no separate minimum trade duration.
  • No payout and no automatic right to an RCF Account.
Successful completion may unlock an Achievement or a personalized offer for a paid RF program in the Client Zone.

Competition parameters and all detailed calculations are governed by the separate Competition rules. Always verify the complete program section before ordering or trading.

What is a real trade in an RF Evaluation?

One real trade means one complete and independent trading idea based on a specific market movement or a new independent market setup. The count is not simply the number of positions opened.

Still one real trade

  • Several entries in the same direction during one market move.
  • One intended position divided into smaller parts.
  • A multi-step or multi-leg structure built around the same idea.
  • Trades on correlated instruments based on the same market view.
  • Adding to the same position without a new independent setup.

A new independent trade

  • The previous trading idea has been completed.
  • A new market movement or separate setup appears.
  • The reason for entry is genuinely different.
  • The new order is not merely a continuation or volume split of the previous idea.
Artificially dividing volume, opening complementary small positions or creating orders only to increase the trade count does not create additional real trades and may indicate a prohibited strategy.

How many real trades are required in each program?

Program or stageMinimum real trades
RF Copper4 in every Evaluation phase
RF Bronze5 in every Evaluation phase
RF Silver6 in every Evaluation phase
RF Gold8 during the Evaluation phase
RF Diamond5 on Level 0 only
Free TrialNo minimum
RCF AccountsNo minimum before a reward request
Important: the required real trades must be completed before the Profit Target is reached because the Evaluation account may be closed when the target is achieved.

What happens if I reach the Profit Target before completing the required real trades?

The account may close automatically when the Profit Target is reached. If the required number of real trades was not completed first, the account can be reviewed and the trader may be required to repeat the relevant Evaluation phase.
Do not open artificial or split positions only to increase the count. Each qualifying trade must represent a genuine independent trading idea.

What is the trading leverage on RebelsFunding accounts?

Leverage differs by program, instrument group, account stage and, for Copper and Bronze RCF Accounts, the size of the individual account. The exact tables are published inside every paid program section.
For example, Copper and Bronze Evaluation leverage can reach 1:200 on major FX pairs, while RCF leverage decreases for larger individual account sizes. Stocks and cryptocurrencies use lower leverage. Current symbol specifications are also visible directly in RF-Trader.

Can I have multiple Evaluation accounts?

Yes, a customer may hold multiple Evaluation accounts and may use different RF programs and account sizes, subject to the applicable order, account-use, security and promotion conditions.
The largest available individual Evaluation account across RF programs is 320,000 USD. Available sizes differ by program. The separate maximum aggregate active RCF allocation is explained in the RCF section below.

How does the RF Diamond program work?

RF Diamond starts with a Level 0 Evaluation. After successful completion, separate approval and the RCF Account Contract, the trader can progress through RCF Levels 1 to 8.
  • Available starting sizes: 5k, 10k and 20k.
  • Profit Target: 10% on Level 0 and each RCF level.
  • No Daily Drawdown and a fixed 6% Overall Drawdown.
  • Five real trades are required only on Level 0.
  • After a 10% target is reached, the next level is created automatically.
  • Level 8 reaches 132k, 265k or 530k, depending on the starting size.
The total active RCF allocation limit of 640,000 USD still applies across Diamond and all other RCF Accounts combined.
General trading rules

Trading Rules and Risk Limits

Practical answers about overnight and weekend holding, scalping, news, market close, instruments, drawdown, automated systems and prohibited practices.
Evaluation and RCF rules are not identical. Pay particular attention to the 30-second versus 60-second minimum duration, RCF risk limits and high-impact news restriction.

Can I hold trades overnight?

Yes. Overnight holding is allowed on Evaluation and RCF Accounts.
Use additional caution around daily rollover and periods of low liquidity. Spreads may widen, prices may gap and slippage may occur, especially on less liquid instruments. Protective orders do not guarantee execution at the requested price.

Can I hold trades over the weekend?

Yes. Existing positions may be held through the weekend on Evaluation and RCF Accounts.
Weekend holding carries additional gap and execution risk when the market reopens. You remain responsible for the effect on equity and all applicable Daily and Overall Drawdown limits.

Can I trade cryptocurrencies over the weekend?

Cryptocurrency positions may be held over the weekend, but opening new cryptocurrency trades is not available during the weekend on RF-Trader.
Existing positions remain subject to price movement, equity calculations and drawdown limits.

Can I open a trade shortly before the market closes?

No new trade or pending order may be opened or activated during the final 5 minutes before the relevant market closes.
An existing position may be closed or held through the closure. Check the current instrument schedule and holiday changes because different markets can close at different times.

Do you allow scalping?

Manual scalping is allowed when it complies with the selected program and all prohibited-practice rules.

Paid Evaluation

Every trade used as part of a trading strategy must remain open for at least 30 seconds.

RCF Account

Every trade must remain open for at least 60 seconds.
The Free Trial has no separate minimum trade-duration rule. Latency, price, gap or technical-error exploitation remains prohibited regardless of duration.

Can I trade during economic news?

Paid Evaluation

News trading is allowed. The trader accepts the risk of spread widening, gaps, slippage and execution and must still comply with prohibited-practice rules.

RCF Account

No new trade or pending order may be opened or activated during the 5 minutes immediately before a red high-impact event shown in the TradingView calendar in RF-Trader or the Client Zone.
On an RCF Account, an existing position may be held, managed or closed. There is no fixed blocked period after the release. Deliberate exploitation of news gaps, delayed pricing, hedging or technical reactions remains prohibited.

Which instruments can I trade on RF-Trader?

You may trade instruments currently available in RF-Trader, including Forex pairs, metals, selected stock indices, energies, stocks and cryptocurrencies.
Availability, spread, commission, leverage, minimum size and trading hours differ by instrument and can change. The current platform specification and Trading Instruments page are the authoritative operational sources.

Do you offer swap-free accounts?

Yes. Swap-free conditions apply to the selected Forex pairs and metals identified as swap-free in the current instrument specification.
Other instruments may have positive or negative rollover values. Always check the live specification before holding a position overnight because the available symbols and conditions may change.

Can I use Expert Advisors or automated trading systems?

No. Expert Advisors, automated trading robots and other systems that place or manage trades automatically are not supported on paid Evaluation or RCF Accounts.
Reasonable manual trading styles are allowed when they comply with the Program Rules, applicable RCF rules and Terms & Conditions.

Are Stop Loss and Take Profit mandatory?

Stop Loss and Take Profit are recommended but not generally mandatory under the standard paid Evaluation and RCF rules.
On an RCF Account, not using a Stop Loss does not remove the 1.5% maximum-risk rule. The complete trading idea is assessed using the highest floating or realized loss and other available data.
Execution warning: a Stop Loss is an instruction, not a guaranteed price. Gaps, low liquidity and slippage can result in execution at a different price.

What does Daily Drawdown mean?

Daily Drawdown is the maximum permitted intraday reduction in account equity measured from the daily starting-equity snapshot. The calculation includes closed results and current floating profit or loss.
The starting equity is recorded at the liquidity provider's daily rollover at 00:00 chart time. Chart time is UTC+3 during daylight saving time and UTC+2 during standard time, so the reset occurs at 21:00 UTC in summer and 22:00 UTC in winter. The trading server itself may display UTC.
Example: if starting equity is 10,000 USD and Daily Drawdown is 5%, the intraday equity floor is 9,500 USD.

What is the maximum Daily Drawdown?

ProgramEvaluation Daily DrawdownRCF Daily Drawdown
Copper5%5%
Bronze5%5%
Silver5%5%
GoldNone4%
DiamondNoneNone
Free Trial5%Not applicable
The RF Competition has its own separate rules. Always verify the program selected for the relevant order.

What does Overall Drawdown mean?

Overall Drawdown is a fixed equity limit measured from the initial account size. It includes both closed results and floating profit or loss and does not move upward when the account becomes profitable.
Example: on a 10,000 USD account with a 10% Overall Drawdown, equity must never fall below 9,000 USD.

What is the maximum Overall Drawdown?

The fixed Overall Drawdown is 10% for Copper, Bronze, Silver and Free Trial accounts. It is 6% for Gold and Diamond accounts.
Competition accounts follow the separate Competition rules. The limit is always calculated using equity, including open profit or loss.

What happens after a Daily or Overall Drawdown breach?

  • Open positions are closed automatically.
  • The account is switched to read-only mode.
  • The affected Evaluation phase, Free Trial phase or RCF Account is terminated.
  • Trading cannot continue after the next Daily Drawdown reset.
  • No reward request may be submitted from a terminated RCF Account.
  • A positive balance does not create a right to a partial payout after the breach.
A drawdown breach is therefore a final account event, not a temporary daily pause.

Which trading practices are prohibited?

The trader must use the account personally and trade in a reasonable, genuine manner. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:
  • coordinated, bilateral or multilateral hedging between accounts, persons or firms;
  • external hedging or opposite positions structured to bypass the rules;
  • use of delayed, external or manipulated price feeds;
  • latency, price, gap, swap or other arbitrage and exploitation of technical errors;
  • martingale, one-sided position multiplication, excessive exposure or gambling-style trading;
  • artificial splitting of trades or volumes to bypass trade-count or risk rules;
  • account sharing, account management or allowing another person to trade the account.
The complete list and review rights are defined in the applicable Program Rules and Terms & Conditions.
RCF cooperation

RCF Accounts, Rewards and Payouts

What happens after Evaluation, how RCF approval and the three-party contract work, and the main risk, payout and allocation conditions.
An RCF Account is not granted automatically. It becomes available only after review, approval, compliance checks and conclusion of the separate RCF Account Contract.

I successfully completed an Evaluation. What happens next?

The Evaluation account may be closed and reviewed after the Profit Target and all applicable requirements are completed. Successful completion makes the trader eligible for a separate RCF assessment.
The next steps may include account and strategy review, identity verification, KYC/AML and sanctions screening, jurisdiction checks, approval and signature of the RCF Account Contract. The RCF Account is created only after all required steps are completed.
Passing is not automatic funding: successful Evaluation does not guarantee approval, an RCF Account or a reward.

Who signs the RCF Account Contract?

Any approved RCF cooperation is governed by a separate RCF Account Contract between three parties:
  • the trader;
  • RIFM, s.r.o.;
  • FRCSM, s.r.o.
Under that contract, RIFM, s.r.o. and FRCSM, s.r.o. jointly act as the Provider. The contract must be accepted before RCF cooperation begins.

Does RebelsFunding or FRCSM simply copy my RCF trades to a live market?

No. The RCF relationship should not be understood as automatic copying of the trader's simulated trades.
Any proprietary trading activity by FRCSM, RIFM or an affiliated entity is independent, uses its own capital, is performed on its own account and at its own risk. The execution or result of any real proprietary trade does not determine whether the trader earns an RCF reward or the amount of that reward.

What is the maximum risk allowed on an RCF Account?

The risk attributable to one trade or one group of related trades must not exceed 1.5% of the RCF Account balance recorded when the trade, or the first trade in the related group, was opened.
A related group can include split entries, gradual additions, positions on the same symbol, strongly correlated instruments or trades structured around the same market idea. Normal risk close to 0.5% per trade or related group is strongly recommended.
When no Stop Loss is used, the rule is assessed using the highest floating or realized loss and other available data relating to the complete trading idea.

What is the minimum RCF trade duration and trade count?

Every trade opened on an RCF Account must remain open for at least 60 seconds.
There is no minimum number of trades required before an eligible RCF reward request. The account must still comply with all risk, news, prohibited-practice and payout conditions.

When can I request my first payout from an RCF Account?

The first eligible RCF reward request may be submitted not earlier than 14 calendar days after the first trade on the relevant RCF Account.
The period is calculated separately for each RCF Account. The account must remain active and compliant, and all open positions must be closed before the request is submitted.

What is the minimum payout and must all positions be closed?

The minimum eligible RCF reward request is 50 USD.
All open positions on the relevant account must be closed before the request is submitted. A request cannot be made from a terminated RCF Account, including an account terminated by a Daily or Overall Drawdown breach.

How can I receive my RCF reward?

Eligible rewards are processed using the payout or contractor-payment methods currently made available by RebelsFunding during the applicable onboarding or payout process. Depending on availability, jurisdiction and compliance requirements, this may include RiseWorks, a supported cryptocurrency method, bank transfer or another approved method.
The available method can change and may require identity verification, tax or billing information. Follow the instructions shown in the Client Zone or sent during the current payout process.

What reward split and program fee refund apply?

ProgramInitial reward splitMaximum under current rulesProgram fee refund bonus
Copper80%Up to 90%200%
Bronze80%Up to 90%150%
Silver75%Up to 90%100%
Gold75%Up to 90%No fee refund bonus
Diamond75%75%100% after successful Level 0
Where applicable, the program fee refund bonus is included with the first eligible RCF reward. It is a program benefit governed by the applicable rules and does not mean that every program purchase is generally refundable.

What is the maximum total active RCF allocation?

A trader may hold multiple RCF Accounts, but the maximum aggregate active RCF allocation is 640,000 USD.
The limit includes all active RCF Accounts and all scaled account values combined, including Diamond and other RF programs. It is not a limit per program.

Do I have to wait 14 days before moving to the next Diamond level?

No. After the 10% target on a Diamond RCF level is reached, the next level can be created automatically without waiting for the payout period.
The 14-day first-reward period is calculated separately for each Diamond RCF Account. It affects when a reward can be requested from that account, not when the trader may continue to the next level.

Can I request a payout after an RCF Drawdown breach if the balance is still positive?

No. A Daily or Overall Drawdown breach terminates the RCF Account. Open positions are closed, the account becomes read-only and no reward request may be submitted from that account.
A positive balance remaining after the breach does not create a right to a partial payout.
Orders and platform

Orders, Payments and RF-Trader

Program fees, payment methods, promotions, Achievements, platform access, password recovery and technical support.
Payment methods, promotional limits and platform availability can change. The checkout, Client Zone and current promotion terms show the options available for the specific user and order.

Are there any costs to join RebelsFunding?

Creating access for a Free Trial is free. A paid Evaluation requires payment of the price displayed for the selected program and account size.
The payment is a program service fee, not a registration deposit, trading deposit or investment. The fee supports the Evaluation service, technology, platform and operations associated with the selected program.

Are there any hidden or recurring fees?

RebelsFunding does not add a recurring monthly fee merely for keeping a paid Evaluation active. You pay the price shown for the selected service and any optional purchase you deliberately choose.
A payment provider, bank, card issuer, exchange-rate service or blockchain network may apply its own fee or conversion cost. Those third-party charges are not hidden RebelsFunding program fees.

How can I pay for RF services?

Use one of the payment methods currently displayed in the checkout for your country and order. Available options may include payment card, bank transfer, supported cryptocurrency or a regional payment method.
The list can vary by jurisdiction, currency, payment provider and risk checks. Do not send funds using an unlisted coin, network, account or payment instruction.

Are there limitations on special discount promotions?

Yes. A special promotion may limit the eligible programs, account sizes, number of purchases per customer, countries, payment methods or period of validity.
The conditions displayed with the specific campaign, code or checkout apply. Attempts to bypass a promotion limit through duplicate profiles, altered details or other misuse may result in cancellation, rejection or account review.

Am I automatically entitled to a discount after a failed Evaluation?

No fixed retry discount is guaranteed. After an unsuccessful Evaluation, the Achievements system in the Client Zone may generate a personalized offer for another RF program.
The amount, eligible program, availability and validity are dynamic. The current offer shown in the Client Zone is decisive, not an old percentage mentioned in a screenshot, email or previous version of the FAQ.

On which trading platform can I trade?

RebelsFunding uses the proprietary RF-Trader platform with integrated TradingView charts. It displays the account, equity, drawdown information, orders and other tools needed for the simulated Evaluation and RCF environment.
RF-Trader is not MetaTrader, cTrader or a retail brokerage account. Expert Advisors and automated order-management systems are not supported.

Where can I download the RF-Trader platform?

RF-Trader is primarily a web platform, so a traditional desktop installer is not required. You can open it in a supported browser from the Client Zone or through the standalone RF-Trader web address.
For app-like access, Google Chrome can offer installation of the web application after login. The RF-Trader Guide contains the current PC and mobile access links and installation instructions.

Can I trade directly in the Client Zone or use standalone RF-Trader?

Yes. You can trade directly in the Client Zone where the integrated trading view is available, or continue using the standalone RF-Trader platform with the relevant account credentials.
Use only official RebelsFunding and RF-Trader access links. Do not share your login details with another person.

What should I do if I forget my Client Zone password?

Use the official Client Zone password-reset page and enter the email connected to your RebelsFunding profile. Then follow the instructions sent to that email address.
Check spam and promotional folders. If the reset message does not arrive, contact support and provide the registered email and a clear description of the problem.

What should I do if I forget my RF-Trader password?

Use the official RF-Trader password-recovery page for the platform credentials connected to the trading account. Client Zone and RF-Trader credentials may use different reset processes.

How does RF-Trader function during the weekend?

New cryptocurrency trading is unavailable during the weekend, although existing cryptocurrency positions may remain open. Other markets are closed according to their normal schedules.
Maintenance of RF-Trader or third-party infrastructure may occasionally take place outside active market hours. A temporary login, chart or service issue should not be treated as a normal guaranteed weekend condition. Check current updates and contact support if the issue continues after the relevant market or service reopens.

How can I get help with an account, order or platform problem?

Use the website contact form or Live Chat. For faster investigation, include the account number, order number, device, operating system, browser, exact time of the issue, the action you performed and the full error message.
A screenshot or short screen recording is often useful, but remove passwords, payment-card data, private keys and other sensitive information before sending it.
General information

Forex and Trading Basics

General educational explanations retained from the original FAQ for visitors who are new to Forex, leverage, swap, risk and execution.
This section explains general market concepts. It does not change the fact that RebelsFunding Evaluation and RCF Accounts are fully simulated and do not constitute investment advice.

What is Forex?

Forex, also known as the foreign exchange market, is the global market in which currencies are exchanged and priced against one another. It is decentralized and operates through a network of banks, brokers, institutions and other market participants.
Forex is one of the largest financial markets in the world, with trading activity measured in trillions of US dollars per day.

What is trading on Forex?

Currencies are quoted and traded in pairs, such as EUR/USD, GBP/JPY or AUD/USD. The first currency is the base currency and the second is the quote currency.
If EUR/USD is quoted at 1.20, one euro is valued at 1.20 US dollars. A trader may buy a pair when expecting the base currency to strengthen against the quote currency, or sell it when expecting the opposite.
On RebelsFunding accounts, this activity takes place inside a simulated environment using real market quotations.

Is there any risk with Forex trading?

Yes. Live Forex and financial-market trading carry a high degree of risk and may not be suitable for every person. Prices can move quickly because of economic data, interest-rate expectations, political events, liquidity and market sentiment.
Leverage magnifies both gains and losses. Before trading live capital, a person should understand market risk, execution risk and the possibility of losing the full amount committed to trading.
RebelsFunding accounts are simulated, but poor risk management can still breach the account rules and end an Evaluation or RCF Account.

What is trading leverage?

Leverage allows a trader to control a larger market exposure than the amount of margin required for the position. A leverage ratio of 1:100 means that 1 unit of margin can represent up to 100 units of market exposure.
Leverage is a double-edged tool. It increases the effect of favorable price movement, but it also increases the speed and size of losses.
On an RF simulated account, leverage defines the simulated exposure available for each instrument. It is not a loan or live capital deposited into the trader's name.

What is swap or rollover?

Swap or rollover is an overnight adjustment applied to a position that remains open across the instrument's rollover time. It can reflect interest-rate differences and other costs associated with the instrument.
The value may be positive, negative or marked as swap-free. Some instruments can also apply a larger adjustment on a specified triple-rollover day. Check the current RF-Trader specification before holding a position overnight.

Is trading on Forex or another financial market profitable?

Trading can be profitable for some traders, but there is no guaranteed strategy, account result or income. Every market approach can experience losses, drawdowns and periods in which previous assumptions stop working.
Long-term performance depends on market understanding, a tested strategy, execution discipline, position sizing and risk management. Simulated performance does not guarantee the same result in a live market.

What is slippage?

Slippage is the difference between the price requested or expected for an order and the price at which the order is actually executed. It can occur when the market moves before execution or when liquidity at the requested price is insufficient.

Positive slippage

The order is executed at a more favorable price than requested.

Negative slippage

The order is executed at a less favorable price than requested.
Slippage is more likely during news, low liquidity, rollover, market openings and price gaps. Stop Loss and other protective orders do not guarantee execution at the exact requested price.
